构建“全球链接⼒”：

以国际合作为核⼼战略驱动

      2024 ⾄ 2025 年度，北京电影学院动画学院聚焦构建全球动画教育与产业的深层链接，全⾯升级“国际合作战略体系”。学院先后与新⻄兰维塔⼯作室（Weta FX）、英国国家动画中⼼、法国⾼布兰学院、加拿⼤谢尔丹学院、⽇本东京艺术⼤学等全球⼀流动画机构开展联合教学、研究计划与⼈才培养项⽬，持续拓展“世界课堂”边界。

      特别是在中外联合课程开发、师⽣双向交流、联合创作项⽬落地⽅⾯取得实质性突破，推动中国动画教育与国际⾼端资源在理念、平台、机制上的深度融合，打造“⾛出去、请进来”的双循环国际合作新格局。

From 2024 to 2025, the Beijing Film Academy’s School of Animation has intensified its efforts to forge deeper connections across the global animation education and industry landscape, significantly upgrading its international collaboration strategy.

The school has launched a series of joint teaching, research, and talent development initiatives in partnership with top-tier global institutions such as Weta FX (New Zealand), the UK National Centre for Animation, Gobelins, l’École de l’Image (France), Sheridan College (Canada), and the Tokyo University of the Arts (Japan). These initiatives continue to expand the boundaries of what the school calls its “global classroom.”

Notably, substantial progress has been made in the co-development of international curricula, two-way student and faculty exchanges, and cross-border co-productions. These advances are driving the deep integration of Chinese animation education with global best practices in vision, infrastructure, and institutional mechanisms, and laying the foundation for a dual-track international cooperation model—one that equally emphasizes “going global” and “bringing in”.

汇聚“创新驱动⼒”：

前沿科技赋能未来动画教育

      学院持续强化“未来影像”⽅向的技术布局。2024 年起正式将 AIGC 与⼤模型技术引⼊本硕教学体系，构建集脚本⽣成、画⾯⻛格迁移、智能分镜设计于⼀体的 AI 动画创作链条，在国内⾼校中率先开设“未来影像学”课程群，推动动画教育向“智造”转型。

      同时，学院参与制定国家级 8K 动画制作规范，并通过实验教学平台完成多部 8K 标准⽔墨动画短⽚的创作与国际展映，奠定了“技术+艺术+标准”三位⼀体的中国动画新范式。

The Beijing Film Academy’s School of Animation continues to strengthen its technological foundation in the field of “future visual media.” Starting in 2024, the school formally integrated AIGC (AI-Generated Content) and large language model technologies into both undergraduate and graduate-level curricula, establishing a comprehensive AI-powered animation pipeline that spans script generation, visual style transfer, and intelligent storyboard design. It is among the first institutions in China to launch a dedicated course cluster titled “Future Visual Media Studies,” marking a major step toward the transformation of animation education into a new era of intelligent content creation.

In parallel, the school has taken an active role in formulating national production standards for 8K animation, and has produced several 8K ink-painting-style animated short films through its experimental teaching platform. These works have been showcased internationally, contributing to the formation of a new model in Chinese animation—one that integrates cutting-edge technology, artistic tradition, and standard-setting in a cohesive and forward-looking framework.

以“中国学派”对话世界叙事

      在全球⽂化语境中重塑中国动画学派，北京电影学院始终坚持以原创⼒推动⽂化输出。《中国动画史》课程被评为国家级“线上线下混合式⼀流课程”，英⽂版由 Routledge 出版社全球发⾏，被美国、⽇本、韩国等多所国际⾼校列为核⼼教材，在全球范围内系统传播“中国动画的历史逻辑与美学精神” 。

      “阿达实验班”作为中国动画拔尖⼈才培养的“中国⽅案”，近年来多次在国际主流影展中取得突破性成绩。学⽣作品⼊围学⽣奥斯卡奖、斯图加特国际动画节等⾼规格赛事，成为中国⻘年创作者参与全球动画话语构建的鲜活例证。

  In the evolving global cultural landscape, the Beijing Film Academy remains committed to advancing Chinese animation through original creativity and meaningful cultural export. Its signature course, The History of Chinese Animation, was recognized as a national first-class hybrid (online-offline) curriculum and has been published in English by Routledge, one of the world’s leading academic publishers. The textbook is now adopted as core teaching material by numerous universities across the United States, Japan, South Korea, and beyond—serving as a systematic introduction to the historical logic and aesthetic spirit of Chinese animation on a global scale.

打造具有国际公信⼒的中国品牌奖项

      北京电影学院动画学院奖完成从“全国奖项”向“国际⾼地”的战略转型。评审团队囊括奥斯卡奖得主、安纳⻄动画节终⾝成就奖获得者、东京艺术⼤学、加州艺术学院、瑞⼠⽇内⽡艺术学院等权威机构专家。全球⼗余所顶尖动画院校踊跃参展，累计作品超千部，展映活动覆盖五⼤洲，媒体曝光总量突破千万量级 。

      法国⾼布兰学院等国际顶尖院校对该奖项给予⾼度关注，其官⽹持续追踪报道相关活动。动画学院奖已成为全球⻘年动画创作者的⻛向标，也成为讲述中国故事、展示东⽅想象⼒的重要国际窗⼝。

The Beijing Film Academy Animation Awards have undergone a strategic transformation—from a prestigious national prize to a prominent platform on the global stage. The judging panel now includes Oscar winners, recipients of lifetime achievement awards from the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, and renowned experts from institutions such as the Tokyo University of the Arts, California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), and the Geneva School of Art and Design. More than a thousand submissions from over a dozen leading animation schools worldwide were received, with screenings and activities reaching audiences across five continents. Total media exposure exceeded 10 million views.

Top international institutions, including Gobelins, l’École de l’Image in France, have shown keen interest in the award, with the school’s official website providing continuous coverage of the event. Today, the Beijing Film Academy Animation Awards serve as both a global barometer for emerging animation talent and a powerful international platform for telling Chinese stories and showcasing Eastern imagination.

构建“育⼈共同体”：

以创作和研究融合推动体系跃升

     北京电影学院动画学院秉持“教学+创作+研究”三位⼀体理念，持续拓展国家级重点教材体系，全⾯推进中国动画学科原创话语体系建设。学院主创作品《守⻰者》《⻔神》《剑来》《中国奇谭》《沉⾹》《⻜向⽉球》《新三岔⼝》《百变⻢丁》等持续亮相柏林、威尼斯、萨格勒布、洛杉矶等国际主流影展，在海内外市场实现学术与产业的双重引领。

      学院举办多场跨语境学术论坛、创意开发⼯作坊、AI 实验课程，持续凝聚来⾃五⼤洲的动画学者与⻘年创作者，推动构建中国主导的“动画育⼈命运共同体”。站在全球排名第 13 的新起点，北京电影学院动画学院将继续以构建具有全球影响⼒的“中国动画⽅案”为⽬标，坚守⺠族美学传统，拥抱前沿科技⾰新，夯实教育质量与原创能⼒，服务国家⽂化战略。

      学院将持续推动动画教育的标准化、国际化、智造化建设，培育既根植中国精神⼜具备国际竞争⼒的动画新⼒量，为中国⽂化“⾛出去”提供源源不断的⼈才与作品⽀撑。

Upholding a holistic approach that integrates teaching, creative production, and academic research, the Beijing Film Academy’s School of Animation continues to expand its system of national-level core textbooks while actively contributing to the development of an original Chinese discourse in animation studies.

A series of faculty-led projects—including The Guardian of Dragons, Door Guardians, Sword Comes, Yao—Chinese Folktales, Aroma, To the Moon, New Crossroads, and Martin the Marvelous—have been featured at major international film festivals such as Berlinale, Venice, Zagreb, and Los Angeles, achieving significant influence across both academic and commercial domains at home and abroad.

Through a wide array of cross-cultural academic forums, creative development labs, and AI-powered experimental courses, the school continues to bring together leading animation scholars and young creators from across the five continents—advancing the vision of a China-led global talent community in animation education.

With its recent rise to 13th place in the global rankings, the Beijing Film Academy’s School of Animation is poised to further its mission of shaping a globally influential model for Chinese animation. Anchored in the aesthetics of national tradition and open to the possibilities of technological innovation, the school remains committed to enhancing educational quality, strengthening original creative capacity, and contributing to the advancement of China’s national cultural strategy.

Moving forward, the school will continue to promote the standardization, internationalization, and intelligent transformation of animation education. It aims to cultivate a new generation of animation talent—rooted in Chinese cultural identity and equipped for global competitiveness—while providing a continuous source of creative work and professional expertise to support the global reach of Chinese culture.
